A new standard of care, one step at a time

Measurement-based care is fast becoming a requirement in behavioral health — but most of what providers are handed feels unnatural, administrative, and disconnected from the actual work of healing. We built a different path: practical, client-centered, and grounded in real clinical experience. Wherever you are today, there's a free first step below. Every purchase you ever make also sets aside 1% to expand access to behavioral health and measurement-based care. You're not just building your practice — you're joining a movement.

I'm leading an organization

Running a clinic, group practice, or CCBHC? Train and certify your staff, evaluate programs, and implement measurement-based care across teams.

Step 1 — Try it free

Start with a single free worksheet you can use in your very next session. Our clinical tools turn the reasoning you already do into something you can see and share with a client — no software, no scoring marathon, just clearer decisions. Want a live conversation instead? Book a free 15-minute discovery call with Dr. Sparkes.

Step 2 — Read the guide

When you're ready to go deeper, Measurement-Based Care and Causality in Behavioral Health: A Practical Guide is the most accessible way in. Access ~250 pages of in-depth content, 41 worked clinical examples, 29 hands-on assignments, and 24 figures — written by a working clinician and statistician, for providers. No special background required. PDF + EPUB, or paperback/hardcover on Amazon.

Step 3 — Join the movement

Keep growing inside the Wolf & Noble Society. Membership pairs a welcoming community of practitioners with real discounts on everything we make — and, at higher tiers, daily technical-assistance office hours and a private monthly consultation. Start at $9.99 / month and step up whenever you're ready.

Step 1 — Start with a free strategy call

Begin with a free 45-minute extended discovery call. We'll explore staff training and certification, program evaluation, ongoing technical assistance, or measurement-based care implementation tailored to your setting — including CCBHC requirements if relevant. No pitch, just a clear-eyed look at what would actually move your outcomes.

Step 2 — Train and certify your team

Give your staff a shared language for measurement and causal reasoning. Our course catalogue covers measurement theory, measurement-based care, Bayesian reasoning, and causal inference — built for treatment providers, not statisticians. Enroll teams in live courses, book in-service trainings, and get your people certified by Wolf & Noble. Discounted pricing is available for team enrollments. Book for details.

Step 3 — Implement, evaluate, and improve

We partner directly with organizations to implement measurement-based care, evaluate program efficacy, and support the projects that matter most to your mission. Statistical, reporting, quality improvement, and ongoing project-management support, on retainer or by project — from a team that has done the clinical work and the math.

Built by providers, for providers

Our founder and lead consultant, Dr. Shane Sparkes, is a working clinical social worker with 12+ years serving people with serious mental illness. He is also a statistician with a PhD in biostatistics from USC. That rare combination shapes everything here: rigor that respects the realities of care. We don't sacrifice the therapeutic relationship to satisfy administrative demands — we design measurement that serves both.

The Wolf & Noble Promise: We donate 1% of revenue to organizations that expand access to behavioral health care or measurement-based care. When you work with us, you support that work too.

Before you start — three basic questions

  • Do I, or does my team, need a statistics or math background?

No. Everything is built for providers. If you can reason about your clients — and you do, every day — you can do this. Our method's only prerequisite is a willingness to think carefully and visually, fast and slow.

  • Won't this add to my administrative burden?

It's designed to do the opposite. Measurement that becomes a burden is measurement misapplied. We focus on lightweight, client-centered tools that sharpen your decisions instead of eating your time.

  • Is this just another training on how to use a PHQ-9, or some other set of validated scales?

No. Validated scales like the PHQ-9 have their place and their use can supply revenue, but they aren't the fundamental way we measure what's present in an encounter. We help you formalize the idiographic, in-the-room reasoning you've already mastered — and add causal tools (DAGs, Bayesian thinking) that make your clinical thinking explicit.
